General Report <p><strong>Members Present: 16</strong></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Zoom &amp; The Educational Building of the First United Methodist Church of Winter Garden. 127 N. Boyd St. Winter Garden, FL 34787</p> <p><strong>Report</strong></p> <ul> <li>Discussed the upcoming Bowling Event. We especially focused on the sales of tickets. If you haven&#39;t gotten your ticket yet, please do so ASAP. We encourage everybody to support our area events even if you can&#39;t make it. Please follow this link to purchase your ticket: https://square.link/u/FoL1crrI.&nbsp;</li> <li>Activites has partnered up with Learning to Live to host our annual <strong>Halloween Party!!!</strong> This event will also be Learning to Live&#39;s 39th Anniversary Celebration. The event will be held on October 24th from 7pm to 11pm at 1655 Peel Ave in Orlando. The event will start with a speaker meeting at 7pm and the party will then begin at 8pm. The theme for the event this year will be Haunted Prom Night. We will be having a costume contest with several prizes and categories. We will be selling food and refreshments during the length of the event. Entry fee for the event will be $10. We encourage everyone to get involved in the event!!</li> <li>Next, activities discussed additional future events for this year. The subcommittee voted to host a Friendsgiving Potluck and a New Year&#39;s Eve celebration. We are still deciding on the dates and locations. We did discuss that the Friendsgiving event will not be on Thanksgiving, it will be a free event, and we will encourage attendees to bring their favorite dish for sharing. Activities will be submitting a proposal for this event at the upcoming ASC meeting.&nbsp;</li> <li>Report posted to website.
