General Report <p><strong>Members Present:</strong>&nbsp;8</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong>&nbsp;The Educational Building of The First United Methodist Chruch of Winter Garden. 127 N. Boyd St. Winter Garden, FL 34787. Also via Zoom; Zoom ID: 843-0307-8812 PW: 280064.</p> <p>Opened the meeting with a moment of silence followed by the Serenity Prayer. The 12 Traditions, The 12 Concepts and the Service Prayer&nbsp;were read.</p> <p><strong>General Report</strong></p> <ul> <li>The Living The Dream&nbsp;Pool Party 3rd annual celebration&nbsp;that was held on Agust 31, 2025 at the Westmore Recreational Center was a&nbsp;sucess. We were able to make back the $260 that was provided by ASC and an additional $198. The Profits were equaly divided&nbsp;between Living the Dream group and the Activities Subcommittee as stipulated in the proposal. The Activities Subcommittee is bringing back to ASC a money order in the amount of $359. Thank you to everyone&nbsp;that made&nbsp;this possible.</li> <li>We discussed ideas for the Halloween Bash on October 25, 2025. We are still asking if anyone has extra halloween decorations to please donate or allow us to borrow them to decorate&nbsp;the facility. We still have tickets for sale at $10 and we are asking GSRs to take tickets to sell at their home groups. We would also like to have a bouncy house for the kids so if anyone knows &quot;a guy&quot; please let us know.</li> <li>We started a WhatsApp group for those who would like to be involve in the preparation of the Halloween Bash.&nbsp;</li> <li>We discussed the possiblity to add some positions to the activities subcommittee so that our events planning can be more organized.</li> <li>The activities subcommittee has decided not to hold&nbsp;events for the holiday season due to SWOI already having events at their facility. We have decided to support SWOI and attend these events and they&nbsp;are allowing the activities subcommittee to set up a table with information and merchandise to educate NA members about the subcommitte. We will be planning some holidays event for next year. A big thanks to Taylor from SWOI activities committee for&nbsp;attending&nbsp;our subcommitte meeting and giving&nbsp;us&nbsp;valuable imput to our meeting.</li> <li>The next event we will be&nbsp;planning will be th ASC anniversary in February 2026.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Elections</strong></p> <p>Hughie T was nominated for Co-Lead.</p> <p><strong>Concerns or Needs</strong></p> <ul> <li>We are asking everyone to help promote and support the upcoming Halloween Bash event. We can&#39;t make this a sucess without your support.</li> <li>The Activities Subcommitte noticed that two events were scheduled on the same date. The Activities Subcommitte provides&nbsp;a calendar at every ASC that includes all upcoming events for the next 4 months. Also, the Greater Orlando Area&nbsp;has&nbsp;a Google calendar on the&nbsp;website with upcoming events and a Flyers section.
