We are working to establish procedures for communication and pick up for our members and literature.
Meeting Lists have been requested by facilities, panel leaders, and generally recommended by members. We would like to request them for our use if possible.
Virtual Meetings
Our adhoc Virtual Facility Coordinator has overseen the successful delivery of Zoom presentations to Aspire Juvenile Men and Women, as well as Bridges of America.
Seminole County Women’s is open for Friday at 10:00AM.
Actively pursuing Orange County Jail and VA Lake Nona
Virtual and Clearance Coordinators are working with members to get their clearance updated for Orange County.
In Person Meetings
All current in person commitments are being serviced successfully.
Sunrise Detox is open for Sunday at 7:00PM.
Several are now open this month for new Advent Health facility in Sanford.
La Amistad is open every other Friday at 7:00PM.
Administration
Orientation has now resumed at 6:30 before our subcommittee meeting every month.
Vice Chair Matt C. is now our PR Liaison that will interface between the subcommittees.
Working to get in contact with United Against Poverty (UAP) to find out if we will be able to resume in person subcommittee meetings.
H&I has lost a significant number of members that used to participate before the pandemic. We are currently processing our sign-in list to determine who still considers themselves active members. We would like to contact facilities again and attempt to recapture service commitments, but this can only be done when we have members to fulfill them. We will work through ASC to broadcast when we see our service commitments opening again with the hope it will attract members back.
In loving service,
H&I Administration
