Boyd St. Winter Garden, FL 34787</p> <p><strong>General Report</strong></p> <ul> <li>The next event the Activities Subcommittee will host is the Area 44th Celebration February 28, 2026 at Grand Ave. Neighborhood Center Orlando, FL 4PM &ndash; 5:15PM Speaker Meeting and 6PM &ndash; 9PM dinner dance with Mardi Gras inspired theme.</li> <li>Ahmed will chair the meeting, and Richard A. will be our main speaker. Their message of hope will include sharing some history of our area.&nbsp;</li> <li>Our next subcommittee meeting will be Friday, February 27th at 6PM. The address is 127 N. Boyd St., Winter Garden, FL 34787. We also transmit the meeting via zoom for those who can&#39;t join in person. Please see our website for more details.&nbsp;</li> <li>I have posted the report to our website.</li> <li>Thank you for allowing me to serve.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Sub-Committee Meeting Minutes</strong></p> <ul> <li>Opened the meeting with a moment of silence followed by the Serenity Prayer. The 12 Traditions, the 12 Concepts, and the NA Service Prayer were read.</li> <li>December minutes were accepted.</li> <li>Greater Orlando 44th&nbsp;Anniversary Celebration <ul> <li>Theme: Mardi Gras</li> <li>Date: February 28th at Grand Ave. Neighborhood Center</li> <li>4PM &ndash; 5:15PM speaker meeting in same room as Area Service</li> <li>6PM &ndash; 9PM dinner / dance in cafeteria</li> <li>Tickets: $30 - Latin food will be served</li> <li>Auction for Event Banner`</li> </ul> </li> <li>We set up a Whatsapp group chat for all the volunteers who signed up at the January area service meeting as well as all the new volunteers who joined the subcommittee this month. Thank you for your service!&nbsp;</li> <li>Decorations &amp; Theming Team: Paul, Josh, Gigi, Gisella, Matthew <ul> <li>Center pieces with table numbers are needed (so we can organize food distribution)</li> <li>They will host a crafting day to build the decorations&nbsp;</li> <li>Matthew will make a 3-hour jazz music playlist for the event</li> </ul> </li> <li>Food Team: Hughie, Kathy, Fernando, Gisella, Kim, Evelyn&nbsp; <ul> <li>Will order from Key Foods Winter Garden, Hughie will pick up &amp; bring to event</li> <li>Cakes ordered from Costco</li> <li>Fernando &amp; Kathy will work the door, and Liz will serve as a greeter</li> <li>Micki will sell masks (seated role)</li> <li>Set Up &amp; Break Down: Joe, Fernando, Hughie, for both the meeting and the dinner dance.
