Of those, are filled 25 at 19 facilities.</strong></li> <li>General Report: <ul> <li><strong>Opened the meeting with a moment of silence followed by the Serenity Prayer. The 12 Traditions were read. </strong></li> <li><strong>We discussed fresh ideas and other ways to do an H&I presentation outside of a speaker sharing their story, including: Panel Presentation, topic discussions, IP/ literature study etc.</strong></li> <li><strong>We have several people who have expressed interest in clearance facilites but are facing lack of responsiveness in the clearance process.</strong></li> <li><strong>Oasis Aspire, a youth facility, is interested in having H&I bringing in presentations.</strong></li> <li><strong>Region has a workgroup that helps members bring the message of recovery to the prison system and is an alternative to bringing the presentation into a facility which very similar to H&I to participate in step writing with inmates, which we shared with the group to promote other NA programs.</strong></li> <li><strong>There is an update on bringing paper key tags into facilities. Per the H&I guidebook as to why the subcommittee cannot bring in the paper key tags. There is fear involved in the potential repercussions of a resident, patient or inmate getting a white key tag at different facilities and the impact that could have. </strong></li> <li><strong>Ad Hoc regarding Process and Procedures and Ad Hoc to partner with PR on a Facility Presentation are tabled until January</strong></li> </ul> </li> <li>Elections <ul> <li><strong>Madison G. is picking up Jessie B.’s commitment at Aspire Women’s Facility and was voted in the decision unanimous. </strong></li> <li><strong>Jessie B. wants to take on the commitment to Advent Health Behavioral Wednesdays at 6 pm pending clearance. The vote was unanimous.</strong></li> <li><strong>Manny C. wants to get a commitment at Advent Health Behavioral on Sundays at 2 pm pending clearance. The vote was unanimous.</strong></li> <li><strong>Lexi R. wants to go into Advent Health Behavioral on Thursdays at whatever time works for the facility pending clearance. The vote was unanimous.</strong></li> <li><strong>Cairo is interested in picking up a commitment but has not attended 2 subcommittee meetings. He will be voted in at the next subcommittee meeting.</strong></li> </ul> </li> <li>Concerns or Needs: <ul> <li><strong>We have several people who have expressed interest in various programs and jails but are facing lack of responsiveness in the clearance process if anyone has any insight.</strong></li> </ul> </li> <li>Upcoming Events: <ul> <li><strong>The next subcommittee meeting will be Thursday, December 19th at 7PM, with orientation taking place prior to meeting at 6:30PM.
