Opened the meeting with a moment of silence followed by the Serenity Prayer. The 12 Traditions were read.
We held our subcommittee on March 19 2019, at 7:00 pm. There were 13 members present, including 5 new members. The new members attended orientation. Presently we are currently taking in 10 presentations into 5 different clearance facilities and 18 presentations into 14 different non-clearance facilities, with a combined total of 33 panel leaders with commitments at this time. We currently have 5 open commitments at clearance facilities and 10 open commitments at non-clearance facilities. Please keep in mind that most of these facilities have multiple presentations on our listing as some facilities request more than one weekly meeting from our H&I subcommittee. With that being said, only 2 clearance facilities and 3 non-clearance facilities are not being serviced at this time. The H&I subcommittee is still in the process of reviewing the porposed changes, to the H&I policy. We will be addressing this potential policy change to our guidelines, at our next H&I subcommittee meeting, on April 16th, 2019. We have spoken to the activities chairperson, and will be conducting a book drive at the upcoming learning day. Our hope at our H&I subcommittee, is to attract more new members in the near future, and encourage former members to return to service. We placed a literature orderof $352.70, but with the 3% discount from reginal service, the total cost will be $345.65 for the Month of May.
