General Report

We held our subcommittee on January 15, 2019 at 7:00 pm. There were 22 members present, including 1 new members. The new members attended orientation. Presently we are currently taking in 10 presentations into 5 different clearance facilities and 18 presentations into 14  different non-clearance facilities, with a combined total of 33 panel leaders with commitments at this time. We currently have 5 open commitments at clearance facilities and 8 open commitments at non-clearance facilities. Please keep in mind that most of these facilities have multiple presentations on our listing as some facilities request more than one weekly meeting from our H&I subcommittee. With that being said, only 2 clearance facilities and 1non-clearance facilities are not being serviced at this time. The H&I subcommittee has voted to change H&I policy to relect the H&I Chairperson as the single point of accountability for the H&I subcommittee. We will be addressing this potential policy change to our guidelines, at our next H&I subcommittee meeting, on February 19th 2019. Our hope at our H&I subcommittee, is to attract more new members in the near future, and encourage former members to return to service. We placed an will pickup, a  literature order in the amount of $267.25 for February. And we are placing a literature order of $411.31 for the Month of March.

Elections:  No elections were held, and all admin postions are filled.

Concerns or Needs:  We have conduted a complete audit of H&I literature and expenses to date. This was done to ensure our budget and expenses are correct; as we prepare for completing the 2020 H&I budget in May. We are presently waiting to complete an auit with the Area treasurer, to ensure our numbers match what they have recorded. We are concern that H&I literature orders are not clearly marked on the line item of each months Treasurer report. We would like to see this become standard policy practice, going forward.

Upcoming Events: Next H&I subcommittee meeting is on February 19th, 2019

In Loving Service,
Joe P, Chairperson
