Members Present: 16
Location: First Christian Church on Kaley
Opened the meeting with a moment of silence followed by the Serenity Prayer. The 12 Traditions and H& I Purpose were read.
We had four members become panel leaders AGAIN! A big thank you to all of H&I panel leaders! They are being consistent and attending their scheduled presentations regularly!
We updated our Facilities list at the meeting and read through our panel leader reports. The CFDFL detox center and University Behavioral Center are requesting more H&I meetings for women. One of our panel leaders expressed concern that the techs were disturbing the presentation. Orange County drug court will no longer sentencing to the work release facility and the H&I l presentations are no longer mandatory in this facility.
The H&I Literature Distributor expressed concern about the amount of literature being distributed to certain facilities and prepared a report documenting the distribution. The group asked that she continue writing this report for 2-3 months to see the average amount of literature being distributed to these facilities.
Concerns or Needs
We need your continued support. Please if you or your home group members have an interest in bringing a H&I presentation into a facility, please give them my name and phone number. Thank you.
The next subcommittee meeting is on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm at the First Christian Church of Orlando, 2565 E. Kaley Avenue, Orlando, FL 32806. Orientation begins at 6:30 pm.
In Loving Service,
