Opened with serenity prayer
Reading of the Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of Narcotics Anonymous

The meeting opened with a financial report on the bowling event which went quite well. We sold a total of 90 tickets and took in $900, paid $611.95 and made a profit of $288.05. The bowling alley was eager to have us back and said they would offer us the same deal.

The Halloween Flyer has been sent to the webpage for approval and we have them here for distribution. We also have tickets for sale which are $10. Eastside recovery requested that there not be a sexiest costume contest category, so this was removed from the flyer. We still need help with the following areas: Set-up, Clean-up, Games, Decorations, and Meeting Chair. If anyone would like to let us borrow some decorations for the evening we would greatly appreciate it, or if you have any donations of decoration items Nikki will be in charge of decorations.

The subcommittee discussed the possible cancellation of the Campout in March due to lack of participation in the subcommittee. Putting on such an event is a big undertaking and would need a lot of support. If you or your homegroup are interested in having this event some of the following areas would need leaders: Facility Liaison, Games, Food, Programming, and much more. Please come to our subcommittee to help us plan this event.

We got some information on having an “Old Skool Jamz” skating night and laser tag. More information to follow. The subcommittee also wanted to hear from the GSR’s about the possibility of having some activities in the Kissimmee and Sanford areas. We wanted to know if there is a preference to keep activities localized centrally or if events would be supported in other areas as well. Please give us feedback on how to proceed.
