General Report <p><strong>Members Present: 14</strong></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong>&nbsp;The Educational Building of the First United Methodist Church of Winter Garden. 127 N. Boyd St. Winter Garden, FL 34787</p> <p><strong>General Report</strong></p> <ul> <li>The Area 44th Celebration was held on February 28, 2026, at Grand Ave. Neighborhood Center Orlando, FL. Ahmed chaired the speaker meeting and Richard A. was the featured speaker. The dinner dance ran successfully from 6PM &ndash; 9PM with Mardi Gras inspired theme. We received positive response from the attendees. What a day of service, unity, and fellowship!&nbsp;</li> <li>Thank you to all our subcommittee members and volunteers who showed up in force before, during, and after the event to make it a success!</li> <li>Our next subcommittee meeting will be Friday, March 27th at 6PM. The address is 127 N. Boyd St., Winter Garden, FL 34787. We also transmit the meeting via zoom for those who can&#39;t join in person. Please see our website for more details.&nbsp;</li> <li>I have posted the report to our website.</li> <li>Thank you for allowing me to serve.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Sub-Committee Meeting Minutes</strong></p> <ul> <li>Opened the meeting with a moment of silence followed by the Serenity Prayer. The 12 Traditions, the 12 Concepts, and the NA Service Prayer were read.</li> <li>January minutes were accepted.</li> <li>We spent the meeting reviewing the final details for the 44th Area Anniversary Celebration event including our 2:30PM set up time, review of onsite roles and responsibilities, confirming how much we would charge for raffle tickets, masks, and banner auction.&nbsp;</li> <li>We began brainstorming ideas for our next events. Some of the ideas included a bowling night, roller skating night, and a Summer Fling @ the Springs (Kelly Rock Springs Apopka, FL).&nbsp;</li> <li>We also discussed the Area Service Awareness Day in June.
