GOASCNA Chair Report ASC Meeting Date: 10/14/2018 1:00  PM
Welcome to all  Greater Orlando Area Members!  We're glad you're here!  Communication is the key
I want to remind all GSR’s that because of our new format/agenda, this is not an excuse for you to leave early. Please be
respectful and find out what is going on with your Subcommittees. It was good to see you all sticking around those that stayed thank
you! The storage unit came back up as a topic it seems all the fine print was not read and the area where it states no food or perishable items are allowed was missed Mr. Leon has since took the items himself and stored them so me and the alternate chair will be looking to find a reasonable solution to the problem.

· I ask that subcommittee reports be limited all proceedings that took place at the subcommittee  meeting is not needed just a report of  the overall status of your subcommittee and if there
are any issues of major  importance and how we can help
· When Reports are being presented, keep your questions limited to what was reported ONLY. If you have a comment,
please speak to the Chair or Vice Chair of that committee during the break.
· For Proposal discussions, please keep comments concise and to the point; try not to repeat something you’ve already
heard or I will ask if you have another question or comment that is new.
· PLEASE be considerate and refrain from sharing for excessively long periods of time so that everyone who wants to
participate has the opportunity to do so. The admin staff  will help in moving this along.  Also Ive talked to the Activities Chrm about bringing an activity that involves other area’s or our region such as a speaker jam according to tradition 1 unity is the key.

*Elections* we still have an abundance of open positions !  please consider the fourth concept when nominating people for those
positions.
In Loving Service, Demetrius G,, G.O.A.S.C.N.A. Chair

General Report

We held our subcommittee on September 18, 2018 at 7:00 pm. There were 33 members present, including 3 new members. The new members all attended orientation as well. We are currently taking in 9 presentations into 5 different clearance facilities and 16 presentations into 12 different non-clearance facilities with a combined total of 25 panel leaders with commitments at this time. We currently have 3 open commitments at clearance facilities and 12 open commitments at non-clearance facilities. Please keep in mind that most of these facilities have multiple presentations on our listing as some facilities request more than one weekly meeting from our H&I subcommittee. With that being said, only 1 clearance facilities and 3 non-clearance facilities are not being serviced at all at this time. We have cleaned up our facilities list, and continue to make changes as needed. Our hope is to attract more new members in the near future, and encourage former members to return to service. The H&I subcommittee is very grateful to the ASC, for approving the i$450 increase to the H&I budget. We placed a literature order in the amount of $299.30 at Area, to replenish our stock.

Elections:  No elections were hel. All admin postions are filled

Concerns or Needs:  We have no concerns or needs at this time.
